Art Museum Visit

Charles E Burchfield (1893-1967) His artworks made the biggest impression on me, mainly because his pieces of artwork are so original. You can tell he really took his time when creating his pieces. I like looking at modern art work. I did not exist around the time he was alive so looking at his artwork gave me a feel of how his time period was. One of Charles E Burchfields pieces of artwork that I found interesting was his "Tracing of two Ravines,1943. " I found this tracing interesting one because it demonstrates what we have learned so far in class. The elements of arts lines, value and space. This tracing looks like its a lot to look at but once you've stood there for a while you start to visualize what he is trying to depict in the tracing.
