Art Exploration: Value Scale and Color Wheel
Value Scale
Creating the Value Scale was interesting to me. I was amazed with the fact you can make such a dark tint on a piece of paper with just a pencil. Moving from dark to light, as I was shading I let the pencil get liter and liter. That way you could see the difference in the pencil shading. As I got closer to the last box I loosened my grip on the pencil. So that it would not be barely any pencil shading on the paper. I used a ruler to make boxes and straight lines.
Color Wheel
When creating the color wheel I used two paper plates. On the first paper plate I used the three primary colors Magenta, Cyan and Yellow. On the second paper plate I also have the three primary colors I just added the secondary colors. Making these color wheels were fun, I always get excited when using paint. It is amazing watching colors change into different colors when you mix them together.
