Module 10: Mask making

The three masks that I chose to focus my inspiration on for this assignment were the Acient Chinese Culture masks. I decided to go with these mask because as a child my favorite childhood movie was Mulan. In that movie , even though it was a cartoon there was a lot of chinese culture masks present. I like the way these maks look because they have many different textures, shapes, colors and dimention to them. When trying to sketch my non-dominant hand it was definitely a challenge for me because I have never tried to draw with that hand before. My dominant hand is my left hand as far as writing goes but I do everything with my right hand. Drawing my left hand with my right hand was hard because I never thought to use my right hand when it comes to drawi...
